Over the years, we have enjoyed many visits with Daniel Klein and Mirra Fine, producers of the award-winning online food show The Perennial Plate. Recently, the show released a series of episodes highlighting the culinary community and food culture of Ireland. In the audio segment above, Lynne Rossetto Kasper talks with Daniel Klein about his visit to a particularly interesting spot, McGraths Butchers, in the historic town of Linsmore in County Waterford. The McGraths have a family tradition of farming and butchery that goes back to the 1600s. Members of the McGrath family discuss this tradition in The Perennial Plate episode below, the "The Butcher Shop."  Learn more about The Perennial Plate's travels in Ireland including a few days spent with chef Katie Sanderson, and enjoying turf-smoked salmon from The Haven Smokehouse in the our article "The Perenennial Plate goes off the beaten path in Ireland."
