Green coconut chutney is delicious with kababs and fritters or in sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh or dry coconut, grated

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 green chilies

  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped

  • 1/2 cup mint leaves

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 4 tablespoons water

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Place all ingredients in a food processor and grind to a paste. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
