Greg Engert is the beer director of Neighborhood Restaurant Group in Washington, D.C. In 2010, Food & Wine magazine named him a Sommelier of the Year -- an honor previously reserved for those in the wine field. He has developed an exhaustive categorization system for beer flavors, which includes beer for people who hate beer.
Engert answered the questions below for The Splendid Table listeners during his time as our beer expert in residence. Find him and query him at @ChurchKeyDC for more.
